I. Under-Graduate, Post-Graduate and other Diploma Programmes

International students can start applying for Provisional Admission into any undergraduate, post-graduate and research programmes from January 1st every year. However, the cut off date is May 31st of the year. Applications will be considered on a first-come-first-served basis.

After scrutiny of the applications for eligibility, the University will issue a 'Provisional Admission Letter' for the purpose of obtaining from Indian Consulate/Embassy a 'Student Visa' or 'Research Visa' as the case may be, that must be endorsed to Osmania University and without which no admission can be made.
After obtaining the Visa endorsed to Osmania University, the students must apply for 'Regular Admission' to the Director, University Foreign Relations Office, Osmania University, Hyderabad - 500 007, India, before June 30th of a year, after which no application for admission will be entertained.

Admission to undergraduate, post-graduate courses, post-graduate diplomas and other second-degree programmes is open to all international students. They will be given admission in the campus/constituent colleges of the university and private - affiliated colleges where such courses are offered.
Eligibility
For admission into undergraduate courses the candidate must have qualified in 10+2 (k12) or an equivalent examination. International students, who have obtained their degree at home in the concerned or allied subjects (s), are eligible for admission into the post-graduate courses at Osmania University directly without any entrance test. However, international students graduating from Indian universities must qualify at the P G Entrance Test conducted by Osmania University every year. The ICCR sponsored foreign students are exempted from appearing to the Entrance Test and are eligible for direct admission.
